Ugh...

I haven't been able to blog in ages! my internet connection got cut off the other day, we were sharing internet with my sister in law, and then she decides to cut it off from one day to another without telling us, and was i ever pissed...whatever.

I am going nuts without being able to blog as much as i want lol. Right now i am connected with wireless and whatever connection i can catch. I can't wait to have my own connection so that i can blog all day if i want to -sigh- so frustrating. That was inconsiderate if you ask me, ugh.

I hope i can be back to blog regularly, this catching signals every now and then whenever they are available is really frustrating!

In Pain? Skinny Jeans Can Do Nerve Damage - ABC News

Dr. Orly Avitzur, a neurologist at Yale University, has found yet another way skinny jeans have been hurting people in the long-term, meralgia paresthetica.

Avitzur said doctors used to see meralgia paresthetica among girdle wearers, but the lycra-infused denim worn by women and young hipster men today has resurrected the fashion-derived pain.

The condition starts when tight-fitting clothing compresses a nerve in the groin close to the skin's surface. Put enough pressure on it, and the whole nerve can begin to react, running from your groin, to your outer thigh and down toward the knee.

"It can feel anywhere from numb to prickly, to a tingle, to burning, to painful or irritating," Avitzur said.

I want: Altered Shoes Book

While browsing other websites looking for inspiration, i found this blog: Crafter Shock.
I love DYI, i love crafts, even more when they are about fashion, this book really caught my attention, since recently, i reconstructed a pair of shoes, they went from pointed toe to peep toe shoes. What i did, cut off the pointed toe, and reshaped it into a peep toe, with scissors. You may be thinking they probably look like a disaster and ready to throw away to the garbage lol, but no, they actually do look like they were peep toes all the time. They were given to me, and at first i didn't like them, the heel wasn't high enough for my taste, i like sky high heels [unless it's flip flops of course]. Then i thought, they would probably look better if they were peep toes, and so that is what i did, turned them into "peep toe heels" i wanted peep toes anyways. I also thought, what do i have to lose? they were given to me and plus, i didn't like them much, therefore, i never wore them. Now they have become one of my favorite pairs of shoes!

Recently i was thinking of re-vamping them as well, and then i find this book that could give me hundreds of very creative ideas on how to alter: shoes! I've seen all kinds of clothing altering, never before, shoe altering, i so want this book. I would LOVE LOVE to have it.
